Ancient Ram Inn
Wotton under Edge
The Ancient Ram Inn was built in 1145. The inn was previously used by local priests as place to accommodate local slaves and workers. This labour force was used to assist in the construction of nearby St. Mary Church. Standing on land at an intersection of 2 ancient Ley Lines. The Ram Inn is believed to be a sponge absorbing the highly charged spiritual energy.
The location of the building has been attributed to the reported haunting and poltergeist activity. Many visitors report on entering the Ancient Ram Inn feelings of extreme oppression and a very dark and evil atmosphere.
This site has had numerous paranormal investigations. Many have left experiencing the malevolent and sinister spirits within the very fibre of the building. So be very sure this is a place you wish to investigate.
